FDDC was founded by Jason and Andrea Rigler – frisbee and Aussie enthusiasts. In their first year of serious freestyle training, they kept their eyes open for a group of disc doggers in Palm Beach County. They quickly found out, if they wanted to play, practice or train with other disc doggers, the nearest group, Tropicanine, was in Broward. They spread the word and Florida Disc Dog Club was created.
